All VyStar offices will be closed on November 26.
Fraud prevention is a team effort: Together, we can keep your accounts safe and help stop fraudsters in their tracks. When you use your VyStar card to make a purchase in person, over the phone or online, VyStar is working behind the scenes nonstop to ensure your transactions are protected. But VyStar members also have access to a number of free protection services they can use on their own, too. They’re easy to set up and offer extra security, so you can have your mind at ease no matter where you shop.
When you use your VyStar Visa® Debit Card (signature-based), VyStar Visa Credit Card, and Reload & Spend Visa Prepaid (RSVP) Card to shop, there is absolutely no risk. With Visa, your liability for unauthorized transactions is $0. You pay nothing.

Closely monitor your account balances and transactions. Here’s how to set up free alerts for your accounts:
VyStar Account Email Alerts
Visa Credit Card Alerts
Note: Whenever a new credit card account number is issued, alerts for your new card will need to be reset.
Available for both VyStar credit cards and debit cards, Visa Secure is a free protection program that provides more security when shopping online and is used by many Internet merchants. VyStar debit and credit cards as well as business debit, Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) and Health Savings Account (HSA) cards are automatically enrolled for this service. EMV stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa. The EMV chip is an extra layer of protection in addition to the card’s magnetic strip (magstripe). All VyStar credit and debit cards are equipped with EMV chip technology. In the near future, consumers will begin to notice more merchants using chip readers as it is now the industry standard in the United States. A transaction that uses the chip versus the magstripe on the card may require the cardholder to enter the card’s PIN in order to complete the transaction with the merchant.
Note: Any time a card is compromised, the old card account will be closed and a new card and account number issued for your protection.
