Our purpose to Do Good drives every aspect of our organization. We proudly held our third Good is everywhere celebration from Sept. 12-28, 2024. The celebration showed the wonderful impact we can make when we come together with the community around us.  

What is Good is everywhere?

At VyStar, we believe that even in a world full of challenges, there is always room for hope, fun and positivity. Good is everywhere fosters a spirit of togetherness among our employees, members and community partners. Our third celebration featured three exciting elements:

  • Free experiences at many of our favorite local attractions and destinations

  • Volunteer opportunities for every VyStar employee to Do Good in our communities

  • Spotlights on community partners who make a huge difference in the places we call home

Free Experience Registrations

Unforgettable Free Experiences 

During Good is everywhere, we held 23 free experiences at 20 cultural and educational destinations across Florida and Georgia. Enjoyed by thousands of people, these experiences included past favorites like museums and zoos as well as new opportunities like tickets to see Orlando City and Orlando Pride soccer matches and Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball games. Additionally, concertgoers enjoyed a performance at the Stockbridge Amphitheater.

Making a Difference Together 

Our employees dedicated more than 6,000 hours volunteering at 175 community partners throughout Florida and Georgia. A few of the organizations we volunteered with included: 

  • Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida 

  • Mission House 

  • Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia  

  • Ronald McDonald House 

Additionally, Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan joined more than 45 VyStar employees to landscape and paint the interior of the AnnieRuth Foundation’s building and proclaimed it “Good is everywhere Day” in Jacksonville. Meanwhile, the City of Orlando, City of Tallahassee and City of Stockbridge also presented municipal proclamations for “Good is everywhere Day,” highlighting the significance of the celebration.

Good is everywhere provided volunteering opportunities to all of our employees in the places they call home.

2024 Highlights

In September 2024, more than 1,600 VyStar employees completed over 6,900 volunteer hours across our communities. Over the course of the Good is everywhere celebration, they helped out at more than 180 nonprofit organizations to make a difference in the world around us. See some of our favorite moments.
