VyStar and the Orlando Magic have launched their first-ever co-branded credit and debit cards, offering fans unique ways to support their team.
The VyStar Visa Orlando Magic credit card was developed with significant contributions from UNF honors marketing students, bringing fresh insights to the campaign.
The co-branded credit card provides various benefits, such as up to 35% off Magic tickets and access to exclusive Magic events.
The UNF students conducted extensive research and competitive analysis, which significantly impacted the campaign's development.
The students underwent a comprehensive marketing experience, including meetings with the Orlando Magic, VyStar payments team and a local marketing agency.
Students presented their ideas to VyStar's executive team, mimicking real-life business pitches, which prepared them for future professional challenges.
The co-branded Magic debit card has already seen tremendous success, nearing 1,000 cards issued, with benefits extending to new and existing members.
VyStar offers additional internship programs and high school branch opportunities, allowing students to gain hands-on experience in retail banking.
The collaboration with UNF underscores VyStar’s commitment to supporting local education and fostering new talent from the University of North Florida.
