Jacksonville, Florida — Brian E. Wolfburg, President/CEO of VyStar Credit Union, announced the official opening of VyStar’s 58th branch location at 251 W. 1st St., Sanford, Florida. VyStar officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new location on Wednesday, March 4th, at 10:30 a.m., as well as other grand opening festivities through Saturday, March 7th.
VyStar introduced its new branch in Sanford—joining the Oviedo branch as one of two locations in Seminole County—to further its ability to bring credit union services to more people throughout Central to North Florida. Brian Wolfburg says, “As VyStar continues to grow out from Jacksonville, we are excited to become ingrained in new communities like Sanford, one marked by its beautiful waterfront and historic sense of place. We look forward to providing Sanford residents with easier access to VyStar’s high-quality products and services and together building a better financial future for all.”
The Sanford branch incorporates many of VyStar’s new design concepts into a restored building that has long been part of the city. The design combines a fresh look with enhanced technology intended to increase efficiency and improve member experience. The Sanford facility has four teller stations, four member service offices, two drive-thru lanes, one drive-up ATM and one walk-up ATM providing 24-hour access.
Lobby hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Drive-thru hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Alecia Lewis serves as Vice President of VyStar’s Sanford branch. Since beginning her financial career in 1995, Alecia has held several positions, including Supervisor, Training Specialist and Branch Manager.
