VyStar+ Checking Account Terms and Conditions
¹Account holder can request up to two (2) fee reimbursements per account, not per account holder, during a single calendar year (January 1 – December 31). The following fees are eligible for this benefit: Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF), Courtesy Pay, Returned Check – Two Party Check, Official Check, Stop Payment, Dormant/Inactive Account and the VyStar+ Checking monthly fee. To request a refund, member must call the VyStar Contact Center at 904-777-6000 or 800-445-6289 or visit a VyStar branch. Branch locations and operational hours can be found at vystarcu.org/locations. This benefit does not roll over to the next year. Benefit runs from January 1 – December 31 each calendar year that your VyStar+ Checking Account is open and in good standing. Fee must occur on the VyStar+ account that is being requested for refund and credit will be applied to same VyStar+ account.
² 0.25% rate discount will be applied after loan funding of a new or used auto purchase and verification of VyStar+ Checking Account loan rate discount. This offer is not available for existing VyStar auto loans. All loans subject to credit approval. VyStar+ Checking Account must be opened prior to loan opening. Rate discount will be applied within thirty (30) days of the loan funding and verification of the VyStar+ Checking and will be effective the date it is processed. The discount will not be applied retroactively. Your VyStar+ checking account discount may be combined with only one (1) additional rate discount, if applicable. Discounts will be automatically applied. Any additional discounts will not be applied or honored. First payment may be due up to 90 days from closing of the loan, certain restrictions may apply. Not all loans may qualify. Finance charges begin accruing as of the loan disbursement date. All credit union programs, services, rates, terms, and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice. Offer may end at any time without notice. If your loan qualifies, the rate discount will be applied after origination and your monthly payment will not be adjusted. The 0.25% discount will reduce the amount of interest, shortening the length of the loan term.
³ Eligibility: Benefits are available to personal checking account owner(s) and their joint account owner(s), subject to the terms and conditions for the applicable Benefits. Benefits are available to non-publicly traded businesses and their business owner(s) listed on the account, but are not available to employees or authorized signers who are not owners. Benefits are not available to a “signer” on the account who is not an account owner or to clubs, organizations and/or churches and their members, schools and their employees/students. For revocable grantor trusts, Benefits are available only when a grantor is serving as a trustee and covers the grantor trustee(s). For all other fiduciary accounts, Benefits are available to the beneficiary, who must be the primary member (Fiduciary is not covered).
ACCESS TO BENEFITS:
Primary Account Holder: Within five (5) days of account opening date, you will receive an email from support@vystarplus.vystarcu.org confirming activation of the credit file monitoring features along with instructions on how to go online and complete registration and access all the benefits and features. To receive notifications regarding your benefits, an active and unique email address must be on file.
Joint Account Holder(s): Please refer to the VyStar+ welcome email or letter to access your benefits.

IDProtect® - Identity Theft Monitoring and Resolution Service³:
Credit File Monitoring – Daily credit file monitoring and automated alerts of key changes to your Equifax credit report.
ACTIVATION: (Primary Account Holder) Credit file monitoring will be turned on for Primary Account Holder only within five (5) days of account opening, provided Primary Account Holder is 18 years of age or older and information has been verified by the Credit Reporting Agency (CRA). If credit file monitoring has been activated, credit alerts will be sent to the email address provided at the time of account opening. A unique email address must be on file to receive alerts. Primary Account Holder will need to go online and complete registration and to view credit alert details. Mobile credit alerts may be activated at that time. Mobile fees may apply. If you do not want Credit File Monitoring activated, please contact the Benefits Service Center at 1-866-210-0361. Credit File Monitoring will not be turned on for Joint Account Holder(s). Joint Account Holder(s) refer to the VyStar+ welcome email or letter to access your benefits.
WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS/DISCLOSURE: Under the FACT Act amendments to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you are entitled to one free annual credit report from each of the three major credit reporting companies in a 12-month period. You authorize the administrator of this Program (Econocheck; “ECC”) and Equifax (“EQX”), to use your personal information to activate the Credit File Monitoring (“CFM”) services. You understand that in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you are authorizing and providing “written instructions” under the Fair Credit Reporting Act to ECC and EQX (and each of their affiliates), to obtain your credit information from your personal credit file maintained by one or more of three nationwide credit reporting agencies and You hereby authorize ECC and EQX (and each of their affiliates) to access Your personal credit information in order to (i) confirm your identity and (ii) provide your credit data and the CFM services (credit report, credit score, credit file monitoring) to you related to your use and enjoyment of the service.
Dark Web Monitoring – Monitor your personal information on the dark web and receive alerts when your personal information is exposed.
Identity Monitoring* – Monitoring of more than 1,000 databases and public records to identify suspicious activity, including credit header information, phone records, United States Postal Service records, and more. A Risk Score rating is generated with your initial scan and monthly after that. If your scan reflects a high-Risk Score, a Risk Specialist will follow up with you by phone to discuss the scan.
ACTIVATION: Registration is required to activate this benefit and a phone number must be on file to receive notice of elevated Risk Score. You will need to go online to activate and view your Risk Score.
Single Bureau Credit Report* – Ability to request a single bureau report with Equifax data every six months or upon opening an identity theft resolution case.
