Here’s another reason to love your VyStar credit card: With Fitbit Pay™, you can easily use your card to make purchases on the go at millions of stores worldwide—right from your Fitbit Ionic or Versa watch, no phone or wallet necessary. Business credit cards can also be added.
Because Fitbit Pay uses industry-standard tokenization to ensure your card details are never revealed to retailers or stored by Fitbit, you can shop with peace of mind knowing your information stays private. Not to mention that anytime you make a purchase with Fitbit Pay using your VyStar card, you’ll earn the same rewards and benefits you get when you use your physical credit card.
Fitbit Pay is accepted at any of the millions of stores that accept contactless payments. Plus, it’s compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones for setup.
To get started, download the latest version of the Fitbit app on your smartphone or tablet, and make sure your Fitbit Ionic or Versa watch is charged.
Using your Fitbit Ionic or Versa watch to make a payment is simple!

You must enter your personal four-digit PIN code on the Ionic or Versa to use Fitbit Pay—either to unlock your watch after you put it back on your wrist or to authorize a payment during the point of sale (depending on how you set up the device lock). This means that no one can use your watch to make a payment without first entering the PIN code.
When you add a card to your Ionic or Versa, the device lock will be turned on and you’ll be prompted to set a four-digit PIN code for your watch. This means you’ll be asked for your PIN code whenever you put your watch on your wrist. If you wear your Ionic or Versa for 24 hours, the device lock will time out, and you’ll be prompted to enter your PIN code to authorize a payment. (Ionic or Versa will be unlocked for the next 24 hours if the watch remains on your wrist.)
If you choose to disable the device lock, you won’t be asked for your PIN code each time you put your Ionic or Versa on your wrist—you’ll only be prompted to enter the PIN code the first time you make a payment since last taking off your watch.
For added security, you can suspend the card on your watch in the Wallet section of the Fitbit app, even if your watch isn’t nearby. When you suspend a card, it remains stored in your Wallet, but you can’t use it to make payments with your watch. Note that you can still make payments using the physical card, so contact VyStar at (904) 777-6000 or 1 (800) 445-6289 if the card was lost or stolen.
