Popmoney is an Internet Banking service that makes sending and receiving money as easy as emailing and texting. It’s easier than writing checks, using cash, or even sending money using a wire. Use Popmoney to pay your rent to your landlord or roommate, send a cash gift to family and friends, pay your babysitter or your lawn service and much more.
You can even arrange recurring payments and designate one account to be used for automatic deposit.
The first time you use Popmoney you will need to register: Just follow the easy directions.
Wireless provider data and text rates may apply.
Transfers between accounts and Popmoney services are a safe and secure way to make transfers and pay other people. When setting up a transfer, the first layer of protection is initiated by logging in to Internet Banking, which requires your login credentials. For transfers between accounts, you will need to create a separate PIN to enter for each transfer you make.
There are also steps within the transfer process to ensure further security. For example, to receive a deposit sent to your email address, you must provide your mobile number; access to this mobile number will need to be verified to confirm identity and receive the funds.
Your personal account information is also protected. The recipient of funds will see your first and last name only and a personal message you are required to write to help them recognize the transaction is from someone they know. No personal account information will be visible to the recipient.
Some transaction limits and fees may apply for this service: click here.
