It’s Instant Balance and it’s available with our new Mobile Banking system launching in February.
Instant balance allows our members to perform the most commonly used mobile banking functions such as viewing account balances without having to login to the mobile banking app using traditional username/password.
This opt-in feature allows a quick and secure “view-only” mode for those members who would like to quickly check their balance before making a purchase. And, it’s great for members looking for a Social Security/Tax deposit or waiting for a particular check to clear. We expect that the added convenience of this new feature will help drive enrollment and a broader use of our mobile banking app.
For security purposes, the Instant Balance feature does not allow transactions to be performed. That still requires securely signing on with username and password.
Also with the launch, our mobile banking users will be able to access their credit card account transactions from the VyStar Mobile Banking website as well as any VyStar Mobile Banking app. Our members have been asking for this access and we are happy to now have the ability to offer this feature.
We realize that preferences for financial services change and we remain committed to providing a variety of choices for our members.
Important Note: Mobile app users will need to download the new app from the Google® Play Store or Apple® App Store once we launch our new Internet & Mobile Banking service.
