By Vicki Adams, Chief Risk Officer
Online security of your money is VyStar’s number one objective. As the Chief Risk Officer at VyStar, a big part of my job is evaluating any and all risk that could threaten your money when transacting business online.
With the launch of our new Internet & Mobile Banking service fast approaching, we are constantly evaluating how to “securely” convey information about the conversion and how to convert data to the new system seamlessly and more importantly, safely. Throughout the conversion process, I would like to assure you “we never forget that it’s your money”.
Protecting our members’ money and financial data has been a priority of ours for over 60 years. Today, we continue this tradition by offering a selection of effective monitoring and fraud prevention services to help you guard your money. These proven security services are free to VyStar account holders and easy to activate.
I strongly encourage all members using VyStar’s new Internet & Mobile Banking service to fully utilize our enhanced Alerts.
Signing up for these alerts via Internet or Mobile Banking is one of best ways to protect your account online. You can choose to receive these alerts via text message or by email notification. We offered some of these protections in the prior system, however in the new system we’ve significantly improved the arrival time of the messages. Now, your Alerts will be received within 15 minutes of the triggering event. Help us protect your money by signing up today!
