The RSA FraudAction logo symbolizes an anti-phishing/anti-pharming service utilized by VyStar Credit Union and designed to protect financial institutions against phishing attacks. The service assists VyStar in preparing for an attack before it occurs, responding to an attack when it takes place, and addresses all issues that arise following an attack.
RSA FraudAction is a very effective field-proven product. Since its inception over 2 years ago, FraudAction has lowered phishing-related fraud losses for its clients by 50%. Here's how it works:
- Real-time Alert and Detection Services - cans over one billion emails per day as well as domain names and chat rooms.
- Reporting Services - performs an evaluation of an attack using pre-defined statistics, models and utilities and updates the financial institution.
- Exclusive Site Blocking Network - in conjunction with AOL, Netscape, EarthLink and RSA-partner solutions, ensures that more than 50 million users will be prevented from accessing detected phishing sites.
- Site Shutdown – RSA's Anti-Fraud Command Center (AFCC) has shut down thousands of fraudulent sites over the past 18 months.
