Identity theft can happen anywhere to anyone. In line at the store, online at home or when you're buying your morning coffee. If your identity is stolen, you can spend hundreds of hours cleaning up your credit and struggling to get back your good name.

Identity theft occurs when someone steals something personal about you such as a name, address, date of birth, social security number, driver’s license number or account number. This information in the hands of a thief can give them the power to open new accounts, transfer balances, take out loans, get a credit card, or buy a car. Another often overlooked possibility is loosing your identity because of a flood, hurricane or tornado that can literally wipe out your original means of identification.

Through VyStar’s relationship with Identity Theft 911®, you will receive free access to fraud specialists who will guide you through the process of restoring your identity – regardless of whether an identity theft occurred.
