VyStar Credit Union was founded over 50 years ago to serve military and civil service personnel and their families at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida. During a time when it was difficult for military personnel to borrow money, VyStar was established as a place where blue collar workers could go to open an account and get credit. That same mission still applies today. From 1952 to present and beyond, VyStar has grown to offer the value of belonging to a credit union to more people and remains focused on its military and civil service roots in providing high quality service to every member. We maintain a dedicated presence at NAS Jax, with VyStar’s Building 39 Branch located on the property of our very first branch and numerous ATMs throughout the base to serve you. We are also actively involved in military and community programs that honor and support the brave men and women of our military and their families at home and abroad. VyStar is proud of its long-standing military relationship and we appreciate the support of this special part of our membership who has contributed so much to our great nation. |
