Free Remote Check Deposit
Remote Check Deposit is a free deposit service for VyStar members. Simply log into Internet Banking and by scanning your checks onto your desktop—instantly converting your paper checks to electronic checks—the money can be electronically transmitted from your computer to be deposited into your VyStar account. It’s safe, it’s easy and it’s free! Using your normal login and user ID, you will need to log into VyStar Internet Banking. Click the "Services" tab at the top of your account balances screen and "Enter" Remote Check Deposit to transmit your scanned checks electronically. Deposits may be made to most of your savings and checking accounts in Internet Banking. The list of available accounts may be found under the Account Transfer section in Internet Banking. Click the "Transfers” tab and under Account Transfer, select “To Account”. An arrow-down lets you see the list of accounts available. First-time Users: The first time you enter Remote Check Deposit via Internet Banking there will be a short activation process. You will need to submit your request to be enrolled for this service via the "Requests" tab in Internet Banking. There will be a two day processing time to enroll you in this service. Once you are successfully enrolled, you will go to the "Services" tab to access Remote Check Deposit. What types of checks can be scanned? You can scan personal checks, government checks, business checks, money orders, traveler’s checks and cashier’s or certified checks drawn on a U.S. financial institution and in U.S. funds. The maximum check amount that you can scan is $10,000 and checks are subject to hold. To verify your deposit, you can view the History tab in Remote Check Deposit for all transactions. Once your deposit is verified, simply store your paper check in a safe place. When will your checks post? You can scan anytime you like. Items transmitted and received by 5 p.m. (ET) Monday - Friday will be posted to your account on the same business day. Items received after 5 p.m. (ET) on any business day will be posted the next business day. This excludes Saturday, Sunday and federal holidays. Who can use Remote Check Deposit? Check Deposit is available to any qualifying VyStar member who has access to Internet Banking and a valid email address.
