Tax Credit for First-Time Home Buyers.
Now, qualified first-time home buyers who have not owned a principal residence during the 3-year period prior to the purchase date can reduce their tax bill for 2009 by up to $8,000 or 10% of the home's purchase price, whichever is less.
- The tax credit does not have to be repaid.
- The tax credit is equal to 10 percent of the home's purchase price up to a maximum of $8,000.
- Home purchase must occur on or after January 1, 2009 and before December 1, 2009. For the purposes of the tax credit, the purchase date is the date when closing occurs and the title to the property transfers to the home owner.
- Single taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000 and married couples with incomes up to $150,000 qualify for the full tax credit.

VyStar Wireless Banking: Members who are already enrolled in VyStar Internet Banking can login to their VyStar Internet Banking account from their web-enabled cell phone/mobile device to view and monitor account transactions, check account balances, pay bills, transfer money and more. Check with your cellular service provider to get instructions for web browsing with your phone.
VyStar Text Message Banking: If you are able to send text messages or receive email on your cell phone, this automated system allows you to request the last three transactions you performed on your VyStar account and get account balance alerts. Your cell phone/wireless device does not have to be Internet capable to be able to use Text Message Banking. To get started, you'll need to register your cell phone/wireless device and set up your text message banking PIN from your personal computer and already be enrolled in Internet Banking. Then, simply choose the options you would like to receive.
VyStar does not charge fees for banking wireless. If you do not have a web-enabled wireless device, there may be a cost to purchase/rent one. There may be a monthly service fee charged by the carrier for wireless Internet access. Certain restrictions may apply.
Get answers fast! Communicate with a live VyStar Representative via a secure communications channel – VyChat– on our website at www.vystarcu.org. Under “Contact Us”, select VyChat from the menu and click the VyChat button to begin. Then, type in your questions. A VyStar Representative is standing by to help you. It's just like when you phone our Call Center. You can also use VyChat via Internet Banking where your information is already verified by your login credentials and Computer Recognition Security.

It's rare to congratulate someone who has worked
for a company for 45 years. Jeanette Whitener has served VyStar members longer than
