For example: You may want to use your convenience checks to consolidate your debt by paying off higher interest department store cards. Anytime you use a credit card convenience check the money will be charged to your credit card account. The amount must be within your available credit limit. We occasionally issue convenience checks to our cardholders but you can also order more. It’s easy to order Convenience Checks from your credit union.
