As a former member of the Armed Services I was accepted at what was then Jax Naval Federal Credit Union – now VyStar. VyStar CU offered services without the fees which banks demand. I refer to it as the common man's bank with king's privileges. VyStar gave me my first credit card with a limit of 500 dollars. They financed my first new van 8 years later for 30,450 dollars. It was paid off in less than 4 years. I am thankful that VyStar CU gave us a chance when others would not. As Baptist church starting missionaries in Iceland VyStar has constantly been a source of financial advice and assistance. We have referred many people to VyStar and have had no other bank dealings since 1998. We only use VyStar for all of our banking needs. The service provided is personal and professional. “My husband and I decided to obtain a mortgage. We have an account with another financial institution and have always used them for our banking needs. “I was closing on my home here in Cape Coral on June 22, 2005. At the time of the closing no one told me I needed a cashier’s check for down payment, my builder nor the mortgage company. It was after four o’clock in the afternoon. The builder was refusing to give me my keys. I had movers and furniture being delivered the following day. I asked them if I could do a wire transfer into their account. The first thing they said was that there is no bank open at this time of day. Well, I called VyStar and the representative stayed on the phone for an hour and a half and typed up a letter stating that I would relinquish the wire transfer and faxed the letter to the builder/mortgage company. I live 400 miles away from a VyStar Branch and I refuse to bank with anyone else. Your representatives and management have always gone above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. This is not the first time I have had exceptional service from VyStar. I have lived in Florida for 18 years and there is no financial institution like VyStar in the United States. I am a customer for life. Every employee needs to be commended – I do not remember the names of the ones who helped me, but names are not important because it is every employee and manager who has met every need and crisis I have had. It is truly a blessing to have a financial institution that I can completely rely on. No matter what the situation, VyStar has always come through.”

I received a message from your security department about suspicious activity on my VyStar Visa (debit) Check Card. I called them back and they asked if I made any purchases via the Internet to the companies they provided. I told them no, and luckily nothing was lost at my end. The purchases total was about $900. So THANK YOU for monitoring my Visa Check Card!!!!

Starke is a small town. My husband and I banked at the local private bank for the first 30 years of our marriage. When VyStar opened up locally we decided to give it a try. I am so glad that we did. I had the pleasure of speaking with a VyStar Call Center Representative. All I can say is that the level of customer service I received from her was grand. She educated me about the various services that VyStar has, such as the remote deposit, requirements for kid accounts, how to save on ATM fees, and the list goes on.
