  1. What is VyChat?
    VyStar's VyChat is a free online service that allows you to have questions answered by a live VyStar Representative during business hours.
  2. How do I access VyChat?
    Simply click on VyChat from our VyChat page under Contact Us.
  3. Is VyChat Secure?
    Yes. VyChat is a secured communications channel.
  4. Will I need to enter any personal information in order to access VyChat?
    No. If your questions are general in nature, such as “where can I find VyStar's routing number?” you will not be asked nor will you need to provide any personal information.  However, if you have questions or need answers that contain personal/account information – then Yes, you will be asked several questions to verify your identity – just like when you phone our Call Center.
  5. How do I submit questions via VyStar Internet Banking?
    Simply login and select "VyChat" at the top of your Internet Banking account screen to begin your VyChat session.
  6. Will my VyStar Representative disclose any of my personal/account information?
    Yes, but only if you have answered your identity questions correctly.
  7. Is there a fee to use this service?
    No, there is no fee to use VyChat.
  8. What happens if there are no VyStar Representatives available?
    Under normal circumstances, a Representative should be available to answer your questions quickly. When you begin VyChat, you will see a message that lets you know the approximate wait time. Should there be a high number of chat requests, we will work to staff VyChat appropriately.

    If you should use VyChat after business hours, our service switches to regular email so you can still contact us with your questions. For your protection, questions via email that contain personal/account information will not be answered. We recommend you wait until live VyChat is available during regular VyChat hours: Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  9. What happens if I am accidentally disconnected?
    If you are disconnected from VyChat, you can open a new chat window by clicking on the VyChat link and begin again.
  10. Who can I contact if I am having problems with VyChat?
    Phone VyStar's Call Center at (904) 777-6000 or 800-445-6289 for any questions or concerns with VyChat and to get further assistance.
  11. How do I end my VyChat session?
    Simply click on the “Close” button in the upper right-hand corner of the VyChat box.
